Former PGI Faculty Felicitated

                                          

Former PGI faculty members were felicitated by the present Faculty in a function on the opening day of its Academic session after the summer vacation to recognize their contributions to the development and growth of the Institute. Prof. Yogesh Chawla, Director PGI welcomed and presented each member with the commemorative souvenirs released by the PGI on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee Year Celebrations. Prof S.K.Jindal, Chairman of the Golden Jubilee Year Celebrations Committee conducted the function, paid tributes to the contributions of all individual members. He also paid homage to and remembered the contributions of the late teachers such as Prof. JN Berry, Prof. PL Wahi, Prof. BK Aikat, Prof. YN Mehra and others who are no more there.                 

Some of the eminent teachers who attended the ceremony included Prof. IC Pathak, Prof. BK Sharma, Prof. NN Wig, Prof. BL Talwar, Prof. KS Chugh, Prof. JS Gujral, Prof. BN Dutta, Prof. AN Gupta, Prof. Amrit Tiwari, Prof. Shobha Sehgal and others. This was a highly emotional get together for most of them who expressed their happiness and satisfaction at the continuing progress of the Institute.
