World Reading day celebrated in Nivedita Creche, PGI
World reading day was celebrated in Nivedita crèche, PGI. Children were exposed to several reading materials and activities. Parents, made aware of the importance of reading sessions daily with their child and its influence on the reading fluency and comprehension in their wards. Presentations, games, story telling and demonstrations were done to emphasize the same. Dr. Bhavneet, Prof. PrabhjotMallhi guided the parents on improvement of reading skills in their children and answered their queries. Parents were also encouraged of the importance of using community libraries.
