Hostels at PGIMER,
Chandigarh
The institute has several hostels. The resident
doctors and the students are provided semi-furnished accommodation in these
hostels. There are designated ladies, bachelor and married accommodation. The
accommodation is allotted to respective categories of resident doctors and
students through Dean’s Office. Approximate number of accommodation units
available in each hostel is as fellows:

There are separate guest rooms in most of these
hostels which can be utilized for their guests, by the residents. The hostel
complex has three running mess facility. They are run through Association of
Resident Doctor (ARD). They provide variety of food keeping in view the
residents coming from all over India. A new mess building is also coming up in the old
doctor hostel campus.
Common services are like Photostat, computer typing
and washer men are available in the hostels. Shopping complex of the institute
is located closed to married doctors hostel.
