Oral Health Sciences Centre

This centre was inaugurated by Dr. Manmohan Singh on February 26,1995. The first Post graduate Course in Dentistry was started in 1978.

The department runs 7 specialty Clinics. It provides an inter-disciplinary Cleft palate clinic (Listed in American Cleft Palate Association Directory).  Pioneering work done by the department on ICMR feasibility module for primary prevention of dental caries and gingival diseases has been incorporated in National Oral Health Policy.
